Tip

If you do not have a University, or a NHS account:

  • You can still use still the University PC and log in using the “room account”; the username and password for the “room account” can be found on the lectern in each room.

  • We highly recommend only using web-based apps when using the “room account” as it is shared account. You should always log out of any system you have used before logging off the PC.

  • If you have a NHS account, use this PC and login using your NHS account and password.

  • The microphone and camera are not available when logged in to the NHS PC and cannot be managed via the Touch Panel on the lectern.

  • NHS PCs are not available in meeting rooms, but are available in seminar rooms and , lecture theatres and the eLearning Suite.

Laptop HDMI

  • If you have brought your own laptop and wish to connect it to the Audio Visual equipment , via a HDMI cable, use this option.

  • Connecting your laptop via HDMI cable is available in all rooms and would highly recommend using HDMI connections wherever possible.
