Recovering Deleted Items from OWA, Outlook (New) or Outlook (Classic)

Introduction

This page is designed to help you recover emails that you may have deleted, and then have subsequently emptied your deleted items folder. Please note that these emails are not stored indefinitely once they are emptied from the deleted items folder and if a long period of time has elapsed then they may not be recoverable.

Outlook Web App Guide

 Recovering email in OWA or Outlook (New)
  1. Log in to OWA via - http://outlook.office.com or open the Outlook (New) application
  2. Click on Deleted Items and at the top you will see Recover Items Deleted from this folder


  3. You will now see list of emails which has been deleted, select the ones which you wish to restore then choose the option 'Restore'

  1. Open Outlook client
  2. Click on Deleted Items folder and then Recover items deleted from this folder 
  3. Once clicked a window will pop-up, from here you can select the emails which you recover and click on 'Ok'
