VideoConferencing Facilities

In the Clinical School the Committee Room (SR5), SR8 and SR21 all provide videoconferencing facilities using dedicated Cisco equipment. This can be used to call:

Video and Audio

  • Other videoconferencing rooms around the University. Each unit has a pre-loaded list of these.
  • Newer Cisco Videophone handsets (such as these)
  • Computers or Phones using the Cisco Jabber client

Audio Only

  • Any phone

Committee Room SR5

The Committee room is on the ground floor of the School and features dual 84" displays allowing for simultaneous videoconferencing and presentation sharing for groups of up to 24. The camera is wall mounted with multiple preset zooms, and ceiling microphones pick up audio automatically from any seat location. The system is controlled via the AV touchscreen, or the remote control. 

Please note: priority for this room is given to School administrative functions.

Meeting Room SR8

SR8 is a meeting room for up to 12 people on level 3 of the School. It features a table-top 23" Cisco DX80 which has a fixed camera and integrated microphones suitable for videoconferencing / teleconferencing for groups of up to 6. The unit is touchscreen and simple to control.


Please note: priority for this room is given to internal meetings.

Videoconferencing Room SR21

SR21 is a meeting room for groups of up to 20 on level 4 of the School. It features a floor standing 55"  Cisco MX300 with controllable camera, twin tabletop microphones and a control touch panel. It is ideal for videoconferencing for groups of up to 12 participants.

Please note: priority for this room is given to videoconferencing
