Enabling DHCP on your Windows 10 Computer

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Search 'Control Panel' and open desktop app.
  3. Click the Network and Sharing Center link.
  4. Click the Change adapter settings link in the left-hand side column.
  5. Right-click the network connection you want to change the settings for and choose properties.
  6. Under 'This connection uses the following items' double click Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv4).
  7. Select the Obtain an IP address automatically radio button.
  8. Select the Obtain DNS server address automatically radio button.
  9. Click OK.
