- Press cmd and the space bar on your keyboard to open spotlight search and type terminal:
 Image Removed- Click the Apple Logo
 Image Added in the top left corner of the screen and select System Preferences:
 Image Added
- In the window that appears type hostname and press Enterselect Sharing:
 Image Removed Image Added
- This will provide move to a new page, showing the name of the your computer on the next line.
