Introduction

This is a guide to demonstrate how to access your Zoom account that is provided by the UIS.
The accounts provided by the UIS will only be able to sign in using Single Sign-On starting August 1st 2023. Prior to 1st August 2023, you may still be able to sign in with your email and password.

Requirements

A Zoom account linked to your CRSid provided by the UIS.

Instructions

 Accessing your account on the web (https://zoom.us/)

  1. Go to https://zoom.us/

  2. Open the sign-in page

  3. Select the option to sign in with “SSO”

  4. Enter the company domain

  5. This will then take you to the typical University of Cambridge sign-in page where you can log in using CRSid@cam.ac.uk and your Raven password.
    If you are already signed into your account in this web browser for example to access Outlook webmail this process may sign you in without requiring you to enter your Username and Password again.

 Accessing your account on the web (https://cam-ac-uk.zoom.us/)

  1. Go to https://cam-ac-uk.zoom.us/

  2. You will be presented with this page below where you can Join meetings, Host Meetings or Sign in

  3. Select the Sign In Option

  4. This will then take you to the typical University of Cambridge sign-in page where you can log in using CRSid@cam.ac.uk and your Raven password. If you are already signed into your account in this web browser for example to access Outlook webmail this process may sign you in without requiring you to enter your Username and Password again.

 Accessing your account on the Zoom desktop app

  1. Open the Zoom desktop App (if you need to install this you can find it here https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4415294177549-Downloading-the-Zoom-desktop-client-and-mobile-app)

  2. Select sign-in with “SSO”

  3. Enter the University of Cambridge domain (cam-ac-uk)

  4. This will then launch the typical University of Cambridge sign-in page where you can log in using CRSid@cam.ac.uk and your Raven password. If you are already signed into your account in this web browser for example to access Outlook webmail this process may sign you in without requiring you to enter your Username and Password again.

 Accessing your account on the Zoom mobile app

  1. Open the Zoom application on your phone, you can download this from the App Store or Play Store.

  2. Select the option to sign-in

  3. Choose to continue with SSO

  4. Enter the University of Cambridge domain (cam-ac-uk)

  5. This will redirect you and either sign you in straight away if you have your account on your phone or take you to the typical University of Cambridge sign-in page where you can log in using CRSid@cam.ac.uk and your Raven password.
