How to Sync Browser Bookmarks/Favorites before moving to CSCS Services

This is a guide on how to set up bookmark/favorites that will allow you to sync them to your account, so that should you want to access them on another machine, then they are readily available. This is useful if you are using multiple devices or moving from an old device to a new device and want to move your browser bookmarks.

This guide includes links to setting up synchronisation in Edge, Chrome, Safari & Firefox so that you can access them anywhere:

Microsoft Edge

• A guide to set up Edge can be found here - Sign in to sync Microsoft Edge across devices

• You should sign in with your @cam.ac.uk account details

Google Chrome

• A guide to set up Chrome can be found here - Turn sync on and off in Chrome

• You should sign in with your Google account details

• If you don't have a Google account, you can create one here

Apple Safari

• To set up iCloud on a Mac, choose Apple menu 

   > System Preferences.

• Click iCloud, then enter your Apple ID and password.

• If you do not have an Apple ID, follow the onscreen instructions to create one.

• Turn on the iCloud features for Safari

Mozilla Firefox

• You should sign in with your Firefox account details
